About Me

Hi!

My name is Sara Restrepo and I am a Graphic Design and Animation student at CUNY BA (CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies). I am currently pursuing my BFA in Design and Animation. In 2019 I received my Associate's Degree in Animation and Motion Graphics at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.

My hope and goal are to one day earn the privilege of helping create the kinds of animated works that compel a young person to view a stranger in a kinder light or be more compassionate and accepting of themselves. The ability to share a story and have the possibility that it might change the course of someone’s life or provide them with a source of comfort, happiness, and inspiration is something I revere and do not take lightly. I am eager to keep learning and expand my knowledge every day to then work in the design and animation world in the near future.
